--- name: playmos-contests description: Integrate Playmos leaderboard contests with studio-defined entry rules, verified admission, settlement and prize claims. --- # Integrate leaderboard contests Read [contests](https://playmos.io/docs/contests.md) and the [SDK reference](https://playmos.io/docs/reference.md) before selecting methods. Contest lifecycle and in-app purchases are separate integration paths. A complete game can be published for public free play before paid contests are approved. Follow [host and publish](https://playmos.io/docs/hosting.md) and the MCP `playmos_get_publishing_guide`; neither a private preview nor a free hosted receipt proves paid admission, score authority or settlement. Keep the paid path disabled until its separate release gates pass. Use the developer's actual game, pool, series, entry price, prize split and payout table. Do not substitute internal demo rules or invent ownership. Keep pool, series, epoch and chain context with every operation and saved recovery record. New rules create a new contest; do not mutate a live contest's terms. Preserve the documented entry identity and round identifiers across client and backend. A local send or receipt alone is not admission: reconcile through the documented confirmation path. Distinguish pending entry, confirmed admission, settlement and claimable winnings. Keep score authority on the studio backend; do not accept an untrusted client's score as proof. Use the documented settlement and prize claim paths, keeping secrets server-side and wallet signatures under developer control. Default new integrations to Base Sepolia. Prepare code and tests within the requested scope; provisioning a funded contest, signing, spending and production publication require developer authority. Report the exact context and evidence for each lifecycle step verified. In Agent Studio, inspect `playmos_get_game_services` and `playmos_get_service_setup` when available. Save Play, Competition and Review choices with `playmos_save_service_setup` and the current revision. The draft does not activate the pool or admit a player. Missing worker verification, registered pool, admission or settlement support blocks paid launch. Preserve stablecoin contract authority; never replace an unavailable paid path with a browser score or simulated payment.
